Why is Smallville the only good CW show that doesn't allow you to watch the episodes online?

I looked. A lot of other CW shows are viewable on their site, but for some reason Smallville isn't. Nor does Smallville play the weekly episodes again within that week. Bummer if my DVR decides to not record.
