Ron Paul’s non-intervention foreign policy, does it work in reality?
Yes to all. Picking sides on every conflict just makes the other side angery with us. That's common sense and just creates more threats to us. We're in Iraq trying to tell them how to run their country, people walk down the street and see soldiers from a country half way around the world. How would that feel to us here? I wouldn't like it. Meanwhile, our own borders are being invaded constantly. How about we worry more about our own country and less about what other countries are doing. That's why the rattle snake was such a good metaphorical animal for the country. We won't bother you, but if you get close to us, we'll give you a fair warning with our rattle then strike if you don't heed the warning.
