What are some good words for an essay to make me sound smarter?

Tomorrow is my first high school essay, and it's for my humanities cl, the hardest cl they offer in school. today we find out, we have to yze 9-12 doents, and write a entire essay in 50 minutes. that doesnt leave me any time for thinking of how to rephrase things so i sound smarter. please help. thank you :)
