The two isotopes of chlorine are \rm ^{35}_{17}Cl and \rm ^{37}_{17}Cl. Which isotope is the most abundant?
The average atomic m of Cl is 35.4532 g/mol so the most abundant isotope must be the one nearest this number, namely the one with atomic m of 35.
