It it ususual for a man to have the majority of his platonic friends as woman ?

No, most my platonic friends are women and it doesn't make me different from anyone else.. It is simply a preference over who you find more enjoyable to be with. I as a teen find my guys to be more cr and it is rather annoying, However girls don't seem to be like that, so they're just nicer to chat with for me and end up being closer friends. If I remember correctly from high school psychology women tend to look for making platonic friends more than men do, so it shouldn't be surprising if most of your platonic friends are women.
