Is rye gr hay suitable for guinea pigs?

It looks like it should be fine. The protein and other nutrient levels are comparable to Timothy, Bermuda and other gr hays. We don't see it much here in the states where Timothy seems to be everybody's "gold standard" but, in truth, any clean, fresh, good quality gr hay works well for guinea pigs. We currently feed Timothy now but have fed Bermuda and a mixed Orchard Gr hay in the past with good results
