Im look for a book about a baptist/christian minister on skid road or skid row. can someone give me the title?

i read about about a baptist minister in a place called skid road or skid row a year or so ago and i dont remember much about the book except that it has a blue cover and some of the stories include an a prostitute that loves a banker and quits to be with him. an ice storm that the homeless people he's with move around so that no one freezes on top. and a tall indian that tries to go home but is robbed on the way there and questions why god didnt stop it. if you know about this book and where to find it i would appreciate it. thank you.
