Astroid in orbit ..... physics question?

Kepler's third law gives a relationship for planets orbital period (T) and distance (r). If time is in years this simply becomes T^2 = r^3. There the radius is given in AU or earth units. So r = T^(2/3), put T=9 giving 4.3 AU. This puts it between Mars and Jupiter. Hope this helps.
